Browsing for books

Please look at the picture full size against a grey background.

I was reminded of this picture session by Lesley down in sunny? Cornwall. She has recently got an 85mm lens.

See http://latreloar.wordpress.com

About five years ago I went to London (England for my US readers) to buy an 85mm f1.2 lens. As I commented to Lesley about the 85mm f1.2 I’m not sure which is most impressive about this lens the quality, the great weight or the high price.

This was one of the first pictures I took with it called “Browsing for books” taken on the Embankment in London. It was very useful to the picture that the area behind his fingers holding the place to put the book back is lit and the very limited DoF at f1.2.

With a jacket like that I’m sure the guy was an Architect.

A big hello to all the new followers of my little blog.

Hi Lesley yes you expect the book to be returned to its place as you look at the picture – thanks for commenting. Andy
