My mother used to live here in the last years of her life so I got to know Sidmouth well. Classic seafront on a windy day. Intriguing way of anchoring the rod – I could never quite understand the joy of fishing and the angler doesn’t look as if he is having a great deal of fun either. A story well told, Andy.
