Jokulsa 3

As promised this is the third of the Jokulsa triptych that has probably been posted a while ago.

As I said in the last post I often work in panels or sets of prints. This picture forms the right hand image of this panel of three.

A big hello to all the new followers of my little blog.

Hi Christian thanks for the appreciation. For me I have always liked the left hand picture of this triptych more than this one. Andy

I’ve just been back to look at the other two from this triptych. For me I think this is the most appealing compositionally – the way that foreground sweeps so dramatically right and then swings back left. There’s something about that sinuous line that is so appealing aesthetically

Hi Andy thanks for your very kind words. When taking these pictures I always had in the back of my mind that there would be a panel of three that hopefully worked well together. Andy

Wow! I love the contrasts, the composition, the mystical quality to this photo. It’s serene, yet there is something that seems hidden, and somehow eerie.
