Just a quick post to say that I will be giving a black & white photography print talk at the Forest of Dean Camera Club in the UK on Monday 12th Sept. at 7.30pm.
The talk is called – Ethiopia – land of burnt faces.
This picture of a Simien mountainer ranger comes from my second visit to the country in 2008. This shot was taken early evening, in the dry season, around 10,000 feet in atlitude. The sun goes down around 6.15 hence the scarfe over the head.
Great photo!
