Troopers Hill – a Sunday afternoon snap.
Ask yourself – What is your photography about, is it describing how a place looks or how it feels?
If it’s about how it looks – then this style of tonality is not appropriate to convey what is now a nature reserve and a place where people walk their dogs.
If it’s about how its feels – the previous industrial use of the land, quarrying for China Clay and the stark remains of a Tar factory chimney on the hill above to increase the draft to the boilers, then this style is appropriate.
Outstanding!

Nice pic. Like the low perspective and high horizon.
